From Dormant Domain to Authority Platform: How AI Operationalized 20 Years of Expertise Into a Complete Website in 2 Days
katierobbert.com went from a placeholder site to a fully branded, SEO-optimized authority platform — with zero developers, zero templates, and zero generic AI copy.
The Challenge: A Domain Without a Mission
katierobbert.com had been sitting idle — a domain with no clear purpose. It wasn’t a portfolio. It wasn’t a blog. It wasn’t a consulting page. It was just… there. And for someone who has spent twenty years building expertise across pharmaceutical operations, marketing technology, management, and data-driven strategy, having a personal site that says nothing is worse than having no site at all.
The site needed to establish Katie Robbert’s authority as a speaker, strategist, and CEO — separate from Trust Insights — and give people a clear path to book her for speaking, hire Trust Insights for consulting, or engage with her thinking. But rebuilding a website typically means hiring a developer, buying a template, and spending weeks going back and forth on copy that never quite sounds right.
The real question wasn’t “how do we build a website?” It was “can AI actually execute on someone’s expertise without producing the same generic garbage everyone else is publishing?”
The Approach: Document the Brain Before Touching the Tool
Most people use AI backward. They open a tool, type a prompt, get generic output, and spend more time fixing it than if they had just done the work themselves. That happens because they skip straight to Platform — the fourth P in the Trust Insights 5P Framework — without defining Purpose, People, or Process first.
This project started where every good project should: with Purpose. Before a single tool was opened or a word of copy written, Katie had to answer the question she asks every client — what is this site actually for? That clarity shaped every decision that followed.
Then came the documentation — the Process that most people skip entirely. Using Claude’s Cowork mode, Katie built three foundational systems before any website work began:
A comprehensive writing style guide — over 500 lines documenting seven distinct voice modes (ranty pants, teaching, vulnerable, CEO, collaborative, podcast, thought leadership), signature phrases, anti-patterns, discourse markers, structural patterns, and good vs. bad examples. All built from existing materials: bios, podcast transcripts, blog posts, LinkedIn content, and framework documentation.
A complete brand system — color palette (forest greens, warm ambers, dark mode neutrals), typography rules (Rubik font family with weight hierarchy), logo usage, visual tone guidelines, and do/don’t rules. Not “pick some nice colors.” A real brand guide codified into a format AI can reference every time.
A WordPress theme skill — block markup patterns, CSS custom properties, page structure conventions, and class naming so generated content works inside the existing site architecture without a developer cleaning it up.
All three were packaged into a reusable Cowork plugin. Every new session starts from Katie’s brain — her brand, her voice, her technical setup. Every time.
The Execution: Two Days, Six Pages, Zero Code
With the foundation in place, Claude operated autonomously — navigating the WordPress admin panel, writing markup, configuring plugins, and applying the documented brand and voice systems. Katie directed the work strategically: deciding what the site needed to say, pointing Claude at source materials, correcting output that didn’t sound right, and making judgment calls about which frameworks to highlight and how to position the brand.
Session one built the foundation and first pages: the About page (rebuilt from scratch using existing bios, speaking history, credentials, and frameworks like 5P, TRIPS, 7D, and 9C), the Speaking page, the Hire Trust Insights page, the Contact page, blog population with existing Trust Insights content, a CSS bug fix affecting every page, and initial SEO configuration.
Session two completed SEO configuration across all remaining pages and polished the site. Rank Math SEO scores tell the story: Homepage went from 21 to 82. About page went from unscored to 80. Blog page went from 6 to 71. Hire Trust Insights went from 15 to 56. Contact went from 8 to 47.
No code was written by hand. No developer was hired. No templates were purchased. The AI handled the WordPress editing, CSS fixes, SEO configuration, and content structuring. Katie handled the thinking.
The Impact: Real Traffic, Real Results
The site updates went live Thursday and Friday, March 19–20, 2026. GA4 flagged the impact immediately — on March 25, views for the homepage spiked to 191, up from an expected 2. That’s not a typo. The site went from near-zero daily activity to triple-digit page views within days of launch.

The newsletter announcement on March 25 drove a massive spike — direct sessions surged to 91 on that day alone, with the About page seeing a week-over-week increase from 1 to 18 sessions. But the numbers that matter most aren’t just volume: visitors are spending nearly three times longer on the site, with an engagement rate of 91%. People aren’t just arriving — they’re reading.
The rebuilt site is also already driving measurable referral traffic back to trustinsights.ai — and the quality of that traffic tells a story the volume alone can’t.
Downstream Impact: Driving High-Quality Traffic to trustinsights.ai
One of the strategic goals of katierobbert.com was to create a pipeline back to Trust Insights — giving visitors a reason to explore consulting, workshops, and services. Within five days of launch, that pipeline was already producing results.
| Metric | katierobbert.com → trustinsights.ai | trustinsights.ai Site Average | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sessions | 7 | 3,429 total | — |
| Engagement Rate | 71.43% | 29.02% | +146% |
| Avg. Engagement Time | 1m 35s | 13s | +631% |
| Events per Session | 5.71 | 5.23 | +9% |

The headline number: visitors arriving at trustinsights.ai from katierobbert.com spend an average of 1 minute and 35 seconds on the site — that’s 631% longer than the site-wide average of 13 seconds. Their engagement rate is 71%, more than double the site average of 29%. These aren’t casual clicks. These are people who arrive already primed by the authority content on Katie’s site — and they stay to explore.
It’s early data from a five-day window, but the signal is clear: a personal authority site built on documented expertise doesn’t just serve the individual. It creates a high-quality referral channel for the business. The visitors katierobbert.com sends to Trust Insights are among the most engaged users on the entire site.
Why It Worked: AI Operationalized Expertise — It Didn’t Replace It
Every word on the site traces back to something Katie created — a bio she wrote, a talk she gave, a framework she developed, a phrase she’s been saying for years. The AI’s job was to organize it, structure it for the web, match her voice patterns, and apply it consistently across six pages. That’s execution. That’s what AI is good at.
What AI can’t do is have twenty years of experience in pharma, operations, management, and marketing technology. It can’t decide that people come before platforms. It can’t develop the 5P Framework. It can’t know when something “doesn’t sound like Katie.” That’s what human expertise provides — and because that expertise was documented first, the AI could use it effectively.
The reusable plugin means every future update starts from the same foundation. No re-explaining. No starting over. That’s the Process piece of the 5P Framework that most people skip — and it’s the difference between AI that sounds like everyone else and AI that sounds like you.
