Process

- Commission a deep research project using the AI tool of your choice to analyze the characteristics of successful holiday songs, including chord progressions, musical keys, tempo ranges, instrumentation choices, and structural patterns.
- Commission a second deep research project focused on lyrical composition, covering syllable count per line, singability requirements, consonant sound complexity, rhyme schemes, and diction standards that enable vocalists to perform the song effectively.
- Compile the best practice guides from both research projects into comprehensive reference documents that will inform your AI prompts.
- Generate song lyrics using your preferred generative AI tool (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Deepseek, or Qwen), incorporating the singability requirements and best practices from your research while ensuring the lyrics reflect your brand style and tone.
- Create the musical prompt by specifying instrumentation, tempo, key, and style characteristics based on your music theory research.
- Verify that any public domain music you plan to reference has a publication date before 1925, use MIDI versions to avoid performance rights complications, or generate entirely original music to minimize copyright risk.
- Input your lyrics and musical prompt into a music generation platform like Suno to create multiple candidate versions of the song.
- Review the generated candidates and compare them against known copyrighted songs to ensure no substantial phrases or sections replicate existing protected works, as you bear responsibility for copyright compliance.
- Refine and regenerate the song based on the initial output, adjusting lyrics or musical elements until you achieve the desired quality and originality.
- Export the final song as audio or video (depending on your platform subscription level) and create an audiogram using tools like Headliner if needed.
- Publish the song on appropriate platforms (YouTube, SoundCloud, social media) and monitor consumption metrics compared to your baseline content performance.

We measure success when the musical content generates higher consumption rates than our standard content formats. We track specific engagement metrics to determine whether the investment in alternative content formats delivers measurable business value.
- View count or play count comparison: Track whether the holiday song receives more views or plays than your average content piece within the same time period on the same platform.
- Engagement rate metrics: Monitor likes, comments, shares, and social media interactions to assess whether the musical format generates stronger audience engagement than traditional content formats.
- Content consumption completion rate: Measure how many listeners complete the full song versus typical drop-off rates for your written or spoken content to evaluate whether the format improves content retention.
